An Omega silver 0.800 open face pocket watch in mint condition, made in Switzerland in 1943.

 

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has golden moon hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: Omega with the logo.

 

MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement with 15 jewels has a plain cock with polished steel regulator, a club foot lever escapement with compensation balance wheel. The movement is signed: “Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss” and numbered: 9278004. The movement is in very good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

 

CASE: The watch lies in a silver open face case in mint condition with an engine turned back with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is signed Omega, stamped for silver 0.800 and numbered: 10120130. The cuvette shows several medals and is signed: “Omega, Bienne – Geneve”.
