A late Victorian silver open face pocket watch hallmarked for London 1882,  in a silver box which is hallmarked for Birmingham 1909.

 

Dial: The silver dial has applied Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and an engine turned subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial has nice floral engravings in the centre.

 

Movement: The fusee lever movement has a gold balance and is in good working condition: however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “William Vogt, Glasgow, 26849” The movement is protected by a dust cover.

 

Case: The watch lies in a silver open face case with an engine turned finish and a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for London 1882 and numbered: 26849.

 

Box: The pocket watch lies in a silver watch stand box which is hallmarked for Birmingham 1909. Measurements: 66mm x 66mm. Please see pictures!
