Antique Omega Silver 0.800 Open Face
Pocket Watch Swiss 1900
An Omega open face silver 0.800 gent’s pocket watch, made in Switzerland in the 1900’s. The pocket watch is complete with a chain.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic Art Nouveau numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has golden hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre:
“P. Abrahamsson, Falkoping-Ranten”.
Movement: The high-grade anchor lever escapement movement has a plain cock with polished steel regulator and blued steel over coil hairspring. The movement is decoratively signed: “Omega”. The movement is in great condition as just been serviced; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver 0.800 open face case with a chased sunburst finish with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and signed Omega and numbered: 4141734. The silver cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: “OMEGA, Grand Prix – Paris 1900”.
