Pocket Watch Swiss 1937
An antique Omega silver 0.800 open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1937.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 13-24-hour numbers. The dial has golden hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: “OMEGA” with the logo.
Movement: The high grade fifteen jewels, club lever escapement movement has a plain cock with polished steel regulator and blued steel over coil hairspring. The movement is decoratively signed: “Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss” and numbered: 8447598. Calibre number: 38.5L T1. The movement is in very good condition and working very well, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver 0.800 open face case with an engine turned finish with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and signed: “Omega, Swiss Made” and numbered: 9238296. The silver cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: “OMEGA, Bienne – Geneve”.
