Omega Silver 0.800 Open Face Gent’s
Pocket Watch Swiss 1930
An all original, excellent open face silver 0.800 Omega gent’s pocket watch, made in Switzerland in the 1930’s. This watch is in excellent working condition as it has just been serviced by the watchmaker!
Dial: The gold-coloured dial has applied Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 13–24-hour numbers. The dial has golden hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: “OMEGA” with the logo. The original glass is in perfect condition.
Movement: The high grade fifteen jewels, club lever escapement movement has a plain cock with polished steel regulator and blued steel over coil hairspring. The movement is decoratively signed: “Omega, 15 Jewels, Swiss” and numbered: 7679658. Calibre number under movement. The movement is in excellent working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver 0.800 open face case with an engine turned back and monogram free finish. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and signed: “Omega Fab Suisse” and numbered: 8470284. The silver cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: “OMEGA, Bienne – Geneve”.
