Omega Silver Open-Face Pocket Watch made in Switzerland – 1918
This is a silver 0.800 open-face Omega pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1918.
Dial:-
The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has golden antique-style chased hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: "Omega" with the logo. The protective glass is in excellent condition.
Movement:-
The fifteen jewels, anchor lever escapement movement has a plain cock with polished steel regulator and blued steel over coil hairspring. The movement is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch. The movement is signed: Omega and numbered: 5258897.
Case:-
The watch lies in a silver 0.800 open-face case with a stunning engine-turned finish and monogram-free cartouche (rare to find a watch in such unused condition) The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and numbered: 6022383. The Silver cuvette is decoratively engraved with several medals and signed: "Omega".
Signed: Omega - Swiss Made – 1918
