This is a 19th Century antiquesilver and gilt watch holder modelled as a book, made in Switzerland in 1867. This is a very rare item!
DIAL:-
The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions.
MOVEMENT:-
The cylinder movement has blued screws and is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The protective glass has a line crack.
CASE:-
The watch lies in a holder modelled as a book with filigree decoration on both sides. The hinged front panel opening to reveal the back of the watch. The case is inscribed: "Vereinsball 1867" on the spine.
