Helvetia WWll Military Army Open Face Pocket Watch Swiss 1942
An original Helvetia military WWII open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1942.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and 3-9-12 red luminous numerals. The dial has luminous cathedral hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: “HELVETIA, Swiss Made”.
Movement: The stem wind lever escapement movement has a compensated balance and regulator and is signed: "HELVETIA, Swiss Made, General Watch Co, Switzerland". Calibre number: 32A. The pocket watch is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch. This pocket has just been serviced at the watchmaker.
Case: The pocket watch lies in a steel chrome open face snap back case. The inner side of the case is numbered: 6010. The back of this case is marked with a military upward arrow: "GSTP G24339"
