A 14 Kt gold Omega half hunter pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1930.

DIAL:-

The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands with a double spade on the hour hand so the time is visible when the half hunter case is closed.

MOVEMENT:-

The anchor lever movement is in great working condition: however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: OMEGA.

CASE:-

The watch lies in a half hunter 14 Kt gold case with a brushed decorated finish. The inner side of the case is stamped for 14Kt gold and numbered: 555724. The cuvette is signed: "GEO Jones %26 Sons, 368 Holloway Road, Swiss Made".

The half-hunter is attributed to Napoleon I who, it is said, cut a hole in the cover of his hunter with a knife to facilitate observation. The half-hunter or Demi-hunter is sometimes referred to as a Napoleon.
