An 18 Kt yellow gold Art Deco open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1925 with an import hallmark for Glasgow 1928.
Dial:-
The silver coloured dial has black Arabic Art Deco numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued steel cathedral hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.
Movement:-
The lever movement has 17 jewels, a bimetallic split balance and overcoil balance spring. The movement has 4 adjustments and a swan lever regulator. The movement is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
Case:-
The watch lies in an 18 Kt yellow gold Art Deco case. One does not see this style of cases in today’s market. The last I saw was 30 years ago. The case is stamped for 18 kt gold and has an import hallmark for Glasgow 1928 and is numbered: 57925.
