A goliath "Colombophile" open face pocket watch by, made in Switzerland in the 1900’s. It is very rare to find a centre second’s hand on early pocket watches, especially this Goliath size; they call this in Belgium a Colombian Fill. This was done for the pigeon racing as it has the seconds hand.

DIAL:-

The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and outer red 1-60-minute numbers. The dial has red inner 13-24-hour numbers and golden antique style hands with a blued seconds hand.

MOVEMENT:-

The anchor lever movement is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: JF.

CASE:-

The goliath pocket watch lies in a steel open face case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is stamped: "Beaucourt, ARGENTAN".
