You are bidding a large Goliath open faced railway pocket watch made in Switzerland in 1930.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial ahs blued hands and a damage to the two and eight. The protective glass is in good condition.
MOVEMENT: The Doxa steel keyless wind movement has club tooth lever escapement and signed: "DOXA". The movement is in working condition however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
CASE: The pocket watch lies in a large steel Goliath case with beautiful engraving on the outer side of the case of a steam railroad locomotive of train with driver. The inner side of the back case is numbered: 724224. The outer side of the cuvette is decoratively signed with medals and achievements: "Medaille D' or Milan 1906, DOXA, Hors Concours, Liege 1905". The inner side of the cuvette is numbered the same and signed DOXA.
