A very nice silver 0.800 Art Nouveau pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1890.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has red inner Arabic Art Nouveau 13-24 hour numerals. The dial has nice antique hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. There is a crack on the dial at the three. The protective glass is in good condition. The dial is signed in the upper centre: " J. E. Carlstrom, Emmaboda".
MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement has a spiral breguet and 15 jewels. The movement is in good working condition, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
CASE: The watch lies in a silver 0.800case with a beautiful Art Nouveau finish. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and numbered: 614769. The inner side of the cuvette is numbered: 614772. The cuvette is signed: "Ankargang 15 Stenar, Spiral Breguet, E.J. Carlstrom, Emmaboda".
