This is a silver Jw Benson, London top wind half hunter pocket watch, hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1935, made in Switzerland. The watch is complete with silver chain.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: "J.W. Benson, London". The protective original glass is in great condition.

Movement: The anchor lever movement has 15 jewels and is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed "Jw Benson, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made".

Case: The watch lies in a silver Ald case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is stamped and hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1935 and stamped Ald and numbered: 647493. The front of the half hunter silver case has blue enamel Roman numerals.
