You are bidding on a superb silver 0.800 keyless wind pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1904. The watch was manufactured by the famous Swiss LONGINES watchmakers. The all original pocket watch is signed Longines four times: on the dial, on the inner side of the case, on the cuvette and on the movement.
Dial: The original white enamel dial has black Art Nouveau Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and is in perfect condition. The dial has nice golden chased hands and a subsidiary sunken seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed: 'Longines' in the upper centre. The protective glass is in excellent condition.
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made lever escapement movement is clean and in excellent working order, it is signed: "Longines, GF". The watch works very well, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver 0.800 engine turned case which is stamped 0.800 for silver on the cover and the cuvette. The inner side of the case is signed: 'Longines EFCo' with the logo and numbered: 1587998. The outer side of the cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: 'Longines, Grand Prix, Paris 1900 '. The nice engine turned back is monogram free.
