Offered for sale is this Superb Rare 18 kt Rose Gold Verge Full Hunter Pocket Watch with Pearls. This pocket watch has beautiful engravings and pearls around the case, made in Switzerland in 1860. This pocket watch comes with an old key. It is very rare to find such a small verge continental pocket watch!!
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and nice blue hands. There is a winding hole at the two. As this is a rare early watch, there is no glass to it, which is very typical for these times, as the silver full hunter case protected the dial.
MOVEMENT: The verge fusee movement has round baluster pillars and a nicely engraved cock. The movement has a silver disc regulator and a three-arm balance. The watch is working very well, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
CASE: The front and back cover of the 18 kt rose gold full hunter pocket watch close well. The gold full hunter case is very clean and has an engine turned finish on both sides and is monogram free with blue enamel around the case.
