CHOPARD HISTORY: Chopard (LUC) was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, Switzerland as creators of high precision pocket watches. Not having any heirs, the original founder sold his company in 1963 to a German family, the Scheufeles, who had already been in jewellery and watches business for four generations. The firm manufactures all its watches and jewellery in Geneva in their own workshops. The Chopard collection consists of many famous lines and classical ladies and gentlemen’s watches as well as a wide range of jewellery products.
