Longines Silver 0.800 Open Faced Pocket Watch 1895
You are bidding on an excellent silver keyless wind pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1895.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black special Arabic Art Nouveau numerals and outer minute divisions. The dial has nice golden antique style hands and a subsidiary sunken seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed: "Longines" in the upper centre. There is a damage at the three.
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made lever escapement movement is clean and in fine working order, it is signed: "Longines". There is the Longines logo on the cock. The watch works well, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver open face case with a monogram free finish. The inner side of the case is stamped 0.800 for silver on the cover and the cuvette. The inner side of the case is signed: "Longines EFCO" with the logo and numbered:1200495. The outer side of the cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: "Longines, Grands Prix, Paris 1900".
