Offered for sale is this silver 0.800 open faced Longines pocket watch made in Switzerland in 1925.
Dial:-
The original white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and blued hands. The dial has a subsidiary seconds dial at the six and is signed: "Longines" in the upper centre.
Movement:-
The high-grade Swiss made lever escapement movement is clean and is signed: "Longines" and numbered: 1521347. The watch is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case:-
The pocket watch lies in a silver 0.800 case with an engine turned back with a monogram free cartouche and a coin edge. The inner side of the cuvette is numbered as well: 1521347 and stamped for silver 0.800. The outer side of the cuvette has several medals and is signed: "LONGINES, Grand Prix, Paris 1900".
