A silver 0.900 open faced Longines keyless wind Art Nouveau pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1900. The all original pocket watch is signed Longines three times: on the dial, on the cuvette and on the movement. This pocket watch was made for the Spanish Market.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Art Nouveau Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: "Longines, Cuervo Y sobrinos, Unicos, Importadores".
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made lever escapement movement is clean and is signed: "Longines, 3257655". The movement is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver open face case with an engraved finish. The back case had niello which has been rubbed off. The inner side of the cuvette is stamped for silver 0.900 and numbered: 3257655. The outer side of the cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: "Longines, 6 Grands Prix, Paris – Anvers – Paris – Bruxelles – Milan - Berne".
