Original Beautiful Gents ZENITH Silver 0.800 Pocket Watch Swiss 1920
You are bidding on a nice original and all clean silver 0.800 Zenith open faced, high regulator pocket watch, lade in Switzerland in 1920. The watch is all clearly signed: "ZENITH" throughout dial, case and movement.
Dial: The clear and very easy to read white enamel dial has nice black Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, lovely gold chased hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed "Zenith" in the upper centre. The protective glass is in excellent condition.
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made gilt frosted anchor lever escapement movement has 15 jewels, Breguet spiral, high swan regulator and compensated balance. The movement is signed: "Zenith" and numbered: 2226876. The movement is in working condition; however we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch is lying in a silver case signed 0.800 with all hinges closing tightly. The back of the case is monogram free and slightly rubbed. there is a small dent by the six. The winding is a bit rubbed however it works and winds up perfectly. The inner side of the case has the Zenith stamp in the middle and is numbered: 3036930, 5016. The inner side of the cuvette is also numbered: 5016. The cuvette is has several medals and is decoratively signed: "GRAND PRIX PARIS 1900, MEDAILLE D’OR GENEVE 1896, ANCRE, LEVEES VISIBLES DOUBLE PLATEAU, 15 RUBIS, BALANCIER COMPENSE, SPIRAL BREGUET."
