You are bidding on an open face, high-grade, gold filled, screw back keyless American Waltham pocket watch, made in USA in 1930. The pocket watch is complete with a gold filled chain with a gemstone fob.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. To set the time: open bezel by the two. The dial has blued hands and is signed in the upper centre: "Waltham". The protective glass is in great condition.
Movement: The anchor lever movement with club tooth lever escapement is fully screwed, has 19 jewels and 5 positions and has a very high star regulating. The centre wheel is a low carat gold. The movement is signed: "A.W.W. C°, Waltham Mass, 19 Jewels, 5 Positions" and numbered: 15094044. The movement is in good working condition; however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
Case: The watch lies in a gold filled screw back open faced case with an engraved monogram free finish. The inner side of the case is signed: "Star Watch Case Company, 10 Kt Gold Filled" and numbered: 9653551.
