A silver 0.800 detent high quality chronometer open face pocket watch made in Switzerland in 1890. This is a true collector's item!
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 5-60 minute numbers. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed: "Chronometre ". The protective glass is in great condition.
MOVEMENT: The very high quality movement has a swan neck regulator, fully screwed jewels and a detent balance. Detent balances are usually associated with Marine chronometers. The movement is signed: "Chronometre". The movement is in working condition, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
CASE: The pocket watch lies in a nice silver case with a smooth finish and gold hinges. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and numbered: 2376.
