This is a silver J.W. Benson topwind open face pocket watch, hallmarked for Birmingham 1919, made in Switzerland.

Dial:-

The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: 'J.W. Benson, London, Swiss Made'.

Movement:-

The anchor lever movement has 15 jewels and is signed: 'J.W. BENSON, Swiss Made, 15 Jewels". The movement is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

Case:-

The pocket watch lies in a silver ALD open face case with a smooth finish. The case and cuvette are signed ALD and hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 and numbered: 377919.
