SILVER VERGE FULL HUNTER POCKET WATCH - Made in France
You are bidding on a very rare silver French verge full hunter pocket watch with beautiful engravings, made in France in circa 1800. This pocket watch comes with a key.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and nice hands. There is a winding hole at the two.
MOVEMENT: The verge fusee movement has round baluster pillars and a nicely engraved cock. The watch is working well, however we cannot guarantee accuracy. The pocket watch is complete with a key.
CASE: As this is a rare early watch, there is no glass to it, which is very normal for these times as the silver case protected the dial. The front cover closes well. The silver full hunter case is very clean and has beautiful engravings. The inner side of the case is numbered: 2292.
