Silver Verge Painted Dial Open Face

Pocket Watch France 1810

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING!!

You are bidding on a silver verge open face pocket watch with a beautiful painted dial, made in France in 1810. The pocket watch is complete with key and silver chain.

Dial:-

The white enamel dial has black handwritten Arabic numerals with black outer minute divisions. The dial has nice blued hands. Possibly not original dial as the dial was redone to this watch. The dial is protected by a bulls-eye glass in great condition. All around the dial is a beautifully hand-painted scenery.

Movement:-

The verge escapement movement is pierced and has a lovely engraved bridge cock. The movement has a silver disc regulator and has round cylinder shaped baluster pillars. The watch has just been serviced by a watchmaker so in excellent working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

Case:-

This verge pocket watch comes in a nice silver case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is numbered: 4343. All the hinges clasp and the buttons are strong with case closing firmly.
