A silver open face early verge pair case and keywind pocket watch, hallmarked for silver London 1765. The pocket watch is complete with the original key and original tag.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black handwritten Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 5-60-minute numbers. The dial has blued hands.
Movement: The English verge gilt movement has a silver cock and silver disc regulator. The movement has nice engravings all around with square pillars. The pocket watch is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: "W. Wood, London 5457".
Case: The watch lies in a silver pair case with a smooth finish on the inner case. The case is hallmarked for: Silver London 1765. The outer case has a repose back with a lady and is not rubbed. Please see pictures of this nice case.
