This is a silver Victorian half hunter pocket watch hallmarked for Chester 1888, signed Cook %26 Kelvey Calcutta. The pocket watch lies in original signed box.

DIAL:-

The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: "Cooke %26 Kelvey, Calcutta".

MOVEMENT:-

The anchor lever has blued screws and is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: "Cooke %26 Kelvey, Calcutta" and numbered: 138491.

CASE:-

The watch lies in a silver half hunter case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for silver Chester 1888 and the casemakers initials are TM.

The pocket watch comes in original box, signed; "By Appointment To His Excellency The Viceroy of India, Cooke %26 Kelvey, Watch Makers, Calcutta %26 Simla". The back of the box has the original guarantee sticker.
