Superb Rare Alarm Silver ZENITH 0.800 Open Face Swiss Pocket Watch 1900
You are bidding on a rare silver 0.800 Zenith alarm open faced pocket watch made in Switzerland in 1900. The pocket watch is signed: ZENITH on the dial and movement.
Dial: The white enamel dial has luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands, a subsidiary seconds dial at the six and an alarm dial at the twelve. The time is set by pushing in the left hand button and turning the winder and the alarm by pressing the right hand button and again turning the winder. The watch is all clearly signed: "ZENITH" throughout dial, case and movement.
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made gilt frosted anchor movement is clean and has 15 Rubis, Breguet spiral, high swan regulator, compensated balance. The movement is signed: "Zenith" and numbered: 408063. The alarm pocket watch is in very good working condition, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
Case: The watch lies in an open face case signed silver 0.800 with all hinges closing tightly. The back of the case is monogram free. The inner side of the case and cuvette is numbered: 81147. The back of the case can be opened so the watch can stand straight and be used as alarm clock.
