Superb Silver Verge Open Face Seconds Inside French Pocket Watch 1830
You are bidding on a silver verge open face pocket watch made in France in 1830. This pocket watch comes with an old key.
Very rare to this pocket watch is that the subsidiary seconds dial is inside the case so the dial stays bright and clear to read.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. There is a winding hole at the twelve. The dial has nice hands and is signed: "A Paris". The protective glass is in good condition.
MOVEMENT: The verge fusee movement has round baluster pillars and a nicely engraved cock. The movement has a silver disc regulator and a three-arm balance. The watch is working very well, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The pocket watch is complete with an old key.
CASE: The watch lies in a silver round case which is very clean and has a smooth finish. The inner side of the case has Swedish silver hallmarks. The case closes very well will all the hinges tightly.
