Half Hunter Pocket Watch in Original Box  

A silver JW Benson, London half hunter pocket watch in original JW Benson box, hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1933, made in Switzerland.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.  The dial is signed: "J.W. Benson, London, Swiss Made". The protective original glass is in great condition.

Movement: The anchor lever movement has 15 jewels and is in good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed “JW Benson, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made”.

Case: The watch lies in a silver ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is stamped and hallmarked for Silver Birmingham 1933 and stamped ALD and numbered: 622298. The front of the half hunter silver case has blue enamel Roman numerals.

The watch comes in original box which is signed: “JW Benson Ltd, Watchmakers, Jewellers & Silversmiths, 62 &64 Ludgate Hill”.
