Mint Antique Gold-Filled Open Face Pocket Watch

with Gold Filled Chain, Swiss 1940

A gold-filled open face pocket watch in mint condition, made in Switzerland in 1940. The pocket watch is complete with a gold-filled chain.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.

MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement is fully screwed and is signed: “17 jewels, adjusted, “Cudos” Swiss Made”. The movement is in excellent working condition; however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The watch has just been serviced by my watchmaker so therefore in excellent condition!

CASE: The watch lies in a gold-filled open face ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is signed: “SUN, Trade Mark, ALD Dennison Watch Case Co” and numbered: 348488. The inner side of the cuvette is signed: “English Make, Guaranteed to be made of Two Plates of 14 Ct Gold with Plate of Composition Between and to wear 25 years” and numbered: 348488.
